Vulci's Tomb - Etruscan tomb

3D reconstruction of the interior of the François Tomb, an Etruscan tomb located in Vulci, Italy. This project was created for Art Media Studio (Florence) and used for an on-site exhibition at the Vulci Archaeological Park.

The reconstruction started from the tomb's real floor plan, with a blockout built to match its actual proportions and measurements. Wall surfaces were textured using real on-site photographs, mapped onto the UV layout and refined in Substance Painter to preserve the frescoes' original color and surface detail. Lighting was set up according to the studio's brief, using volumetric dust to add atmosphere and depth to the space.
